The renovation industry in Los Angeles runs on referrals, handshakes, and a lot of crossed fingers. Homeowners spend tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars with contractors they barely know, on proposals they can't fully interpret, with no one checking whether the deal is actually fair.
We started Keystone Connect in 2020 because we'd seen that problem up close — and because we knew enough about contractors, licensing, and renovation economics in LA to actually do something about it.
We're not brokers, we're not a marketplace, and we're not paid to move volume. We're paid when a homeowner ends up with the right contractor. That alignment is the whole model.

Developed our system for vetting contractors, standardizing bid comparisons, and actually explaining proposals to homeowners in plain language.
Introduced real-time verification
Partnered with TrustLayer to move from one-time license checks to ongoing insurance and credential monitoring for every contractor in the network.
